The Camino de Santiago from Coimbra to Porto is an 8-day, 7-night route that runs through northern Portugal, following the Camino Portugues Central Route. It is ideal for all those who wish to explore Portugal on foot, discovering along the way places of great historical and cultural interest.

The tour begins in the student city of Coimbra, famous for hosting one of the oldest universities in the world, and crosses natural environments in which the presence of eucalyptus forests, vineyard crops and river walks predominates.

Along the route you can visit towns such as Mealhada, from where you can explore the enchanted forest of Mata do Bucaco, Agueda and its picturesque streets full of street art or Grijo. The journey ends in Porto, the city of bridges and cradle of one of Portugal’s most famous wines, Port wine.

Another emblematic moment, from this stage, is the entrance to the city of Porto, which is made over the King Don Luis I Bridge, which crosses the River Douro. Upon arrival in the city, you can make a toast with the famous Port wine to celebrate that you have successfully completed the feat.
