Another fantastic plan for your arrival day is to wander the streets of the Barrio Húmedo, which is located in the old town. In this area, you will find a lively atmosphere and a wide range of bars and restaurants that offer free tapas with each consumption.

Visiting the Romanesque and Jewish Quarters is also highly recommended, but to discover the city in depth you will need an extra day. If you want to add an extra night to your trip, to visit with tranquility Leon, please contact us.

The entrance to the village is made over a beautiful medieval bridge, known as the Passo Honroso. We encourage you, during your visit, to investigate the beautiful love story that gives the place its name.
Leaving Hospital de Orbigo, you will find two possible routes to reach Astorga. We recommend you follow the path to the right, as the other runs along the road. On the road to the right you will continue the tour through a landscape of scrubland, in the company, first, of the River Orbigo, and then, River Tuerto.
After crossing several towns, such as Villares de Orbigo and San Justo de la Vega, you will reach the walled city of Astorga, one of the most interesting cities on the Camino de Santiago Frances.
