Camino de Santiago from Sarria

The Camino de Santiago from Sarria makes up the last 100 kilometres of the Camino de Santiago. It is the most popular stretch, and also the most exciting.

On this route you can enjoy pleasant walks, crossing wooded areas, intense greenery, and idyllic cultivated landscapes. You will also have the opportunity to visit numerous charming villages.

Other wonders on this stretch of the Camino de Santiago are the exquisite traditional gastronomy that you will find during all of its stages, and the numerous opportunities that you will have to meet other pilgrims.

The Camino de Santiago from Sarria ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of Santiago the Apostle rest. Once you have regained your breath, and after the emotional and unforgettable moments that are lived in front of the Cathedral, you can request the certificate that accredits your pilgrimage, the so-called Compostela.

The Camino Frances from Sarria meets the two necessary requirements to apply for The Compostela: having made at least 100 kilometres on foot and finishing the route in the Cathedral of Santiago.
