Camino de Santiago from Tui

The Camino de Santiago from Tui to Santiago de Compostela are the last 100 kilometres of the Camino Portugues. Of the routes that run through Portugal, it is the most popular section with better services.

It is an ideal route for all those people who want to complete the last kilometres on the Camino de Santiago, avoiding the concentration of pilgrims that occurs along the final kilometres of the Camino Frances.

During your trip, you can enjoy pleasant walks, crossing wooded areas of chestnut, eucalyptus and pine trees. Another wonder of this stretch of the Camino Portugues is the traditional cuisine that you will find in the charming villages that cross the route.

The Camino de Santiago from Tui ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of Santiago the Apostle rest. In front of it, the pilgrims, on arrival, live emotional and unforgettable moments.

Another advantage of the Camino Portuguese Central Route from Tui is that you can apply for the Compostela, the certificate that accredits your pilgrimage. This route meets the two minimum requirements to obtain the document: to have made a minimum of 100 km on foot and conclude the tour in the Cathedral of Santiago.
